Exit Poll

Taking the Reader’s Pulse
How Will You Rank In Our Exit Polls?
The Editorial Board and staff of Today’s Wound Clinic are very excited to bring you many new features and extras as we enter 2008.As wound care continues to gain recognition as a specialty and wound care clinics are growing in record numbers, wouldn’t it be great to see how your operation compares against others? Currently, wound care clinics are managed many different ways—all of which have their pros and cons—but until now, no concrete survey or reference for colleagues exists to compare facility operations.Today’s Wound Clinic will be hosting four online surveys titled “Exit Polls” over the course of the year to compile information from the wound care community. Our goal is to provide readers with accurate and current information that can be helpful in the management of a new or existing wound care clinic. We hope to share clinic procedures, compensation, the details of staff responsibilities, and much more. Surveys will include: salaries and benefits, staff responsibilities, facility equipment, clinic volume and revenue, and consultant and management services. This is a very exciting time for the wound care business. We believe this information is important to everyone in the industry. However, we can’t tap into this wealth of information without responses from our readers. Please participate in these quick and simple surveys to ensure the final results accurately reflect our community. All personal information collected will remain confidential and be used for research purposes only. Most importantly, the final results will be published at the end of the year—and only subscribers of TWC will have access to the results both in print and online. The current online survey covers salary and benefits. Please complete the survey at www.todayswoundclinic.com. Results will be published in the Spring 2008 issue. Make sure you also explore the site, enjoy the revamped articles and check in often as we continue to grow.Christopher A. Morrison, MD
