Wound clinics often manage care for individuals who suffer from anxiety-related stress. For those individuals, the experience of having a wound often transcends the wound clinic and affects their day-to-day life. It is common for individuals with psychological disorders, such as generalized anxiety disorder; to have anxious thoughts days before their wound care appointment.
