  SteadMed™ Medical LLC (Fort Worth, TX) and Swiss-American Products Inc. (Carrollton, TX) announced the two companies have entered into an exclusive distribution agreement for Elta® branded medical products sold throughout North America.

  Developed and manufactured by Swiss-American, the Elta wound and skin therapy product line includes incontinence products, silver antimicrobial products, protease-enhanced products, moisturizers and dressings.

  “The agreement between Swiss-American and SteadMed brings together two great organizations: Swiss-American with its innovative product development
and manufacturing capabilities and SteadMed with the commercial expertise,” said Michael Steadman, president and CEO of SteadMed Medical. “For physicians and patients, this will provide expanded therapies, as well as greater access to those therapies, for wound complications, skin conditions and incontinence.”

  Swiss-American will continue to distribute Elta products in Europe, South America and Asia through regional agents. Swiss-American also manufactures and markets the EltaMD® line of physician-dispensed sun care and skin care products.
